· You cannot import pictures into your Blackberry other than via mobile radio, not via cable nor via Bluetooth.
Send it to yourself via e-mail or get it with the Blackberry browser.
(Browser, first click “WAP Bookmarks” [forget Wap!], second click “Go To ...”, click, and then enter web address.*)
· There are already some samples in the 7290, see the Mona Lisa icon.
· To “Set As Home Sreen Image” use only very quiet subjects, as the many icons will disturb anything refined.
· To “Set As Standby Screen” works fine with jpg or gif pictures (no moving gif). As the upper quarter of the picture will be covered by the phone header, make sure to have the action in the lower three quarters of the image (lower 120 of 160 pixels—see example).
· Ich suggest you pre-size the pictures exactly to 160 (height) × 240 (breadth) pixel. Then mail them to yourself as mail enclosure.
· You are welcome to try it with this example, using you Blackberry browser. Address www.Joern.De/BB/Kamelie.jpg.
